Libeu & the World
Libeu
Ichiban's home district. Moldy tenements, the freight yard (Chairman Meow's grave under a rusted fence), Mercer street, the Blue Mercy Lounge, MacNasty's strip club. Civic administrators on paper; in practice, the Eight Suits own too many things that bled.
The Matrix
A machine of control masquerading as freedom. A self-repairing algorithm — a mycelium of control — that feeds on belief and inertia. "The Matrix isn't a prison. It's a feast. And you're the main course."
The thesis of the whole universe: gods, Matrices, and tyrants all run on belief. Kill the belief, kill the system.
The Red Gaze
A dried, cracked, faintly pulsing mushroom. Power, visions, debt — "a loan, and the interest was steep." Grants telepathy, telekinesis, remote viewing, remote messaging. Cultists smear its ash; drunks drink its spores. Consumed entirely, it grants omnipotence. Omnipotence turns out to be boring.
The briefcase
Vibrating with bad decisions. Golden glow inside — but empty. Runes on the case. A cage, not a key. It ends humming: "Fill it with something better, Daddy." Emptiness is not absence. It is an invitation to creation.
The void
The deeper real beneath the Matrix. Debts owed to it transcend death. "The void's debt is mine to pay."
"Creating is the Ritual, Love is the Reason." — Kamau Negasi
